I’m Lexi Melton, and I’m ready to serve as your state house representative.

Tennessee-native Lexi Melton is dedicated to serving her community. Raised by a single mother with support from her grandparents, aunt, and uncle, Lexi learned the values of family connection, resilience, and community early on.

After graduating from Harriman High School, Lexi attended UTC, where she joined Kappa Delta sorority, built her community, and became reacquainted with her childhood-friend-turned-husband Zach. Despite facing personal challenges, Lexi pursued her education and graduated with an A.A.S in Nuclear Medicine Technology and currently serves as a PRN Nuclear Medicine Tech at an outpatient imaging facility. Today, Lexi and Zach make their home in Hartsville with their children Addie and Thatcher.

With her background in healthcare and her dedication to progressive values, Lexi Melton is ready to bring positive change to Tennessee House District 35. She is passionate about policies that prioritize equity across our education system, gun safety legislation, transparency in government, and ensuring that every voice is heard and valued in the political process.

  • All children have a right to equal and accessible public education.

  • All Tennesseeans should have access to reproductive healthcare.

  • The 2nd Amendment and gun safety legislation are not mutually exclusive.

  • Government shouldn't be impossible for a lay-person to understand.
